Dear Mr Remus:

View the Presentation
On behalf of the Board I want to thank you and Michael King for your participation in the September 10, 2002, Board meeting in Las Vegas. The meeting posed a particular challenge because it lasted only one day, contained many presentations, and had to serve the needs of both continuing and new Board members. Your presentation on the Inyo County Regional Ground Water Monitoring Program was very useful and to the point. The information that the Inyo County program will develop on the hydrologic connection between Death Valley and Amargosa Valley will not only benefit the people of Inyo County but will also be useful to the Yucca Mountain program in describing the regional ground water system.

On September 11, 2002, several Board members visited Death Valley as part of a field trip examining the regional ground water system around Yucca Mountain. The Board will be very interested in the results of the Inyo County Program and, at the appropriate time, we would like you to update us on these results.

Again, thank you for your participation in the Board meeting

Sincerely,

signature.
